Back in 2003, while I was living in Kansas, I began studying to continue my education. Things got hectic and stressful and when something had to stop, I decided my studies would have to be put on hold until a future date.
Now, nearly 6 years later, I started my courses again, and actually started them several months ago, and I just completed one of the courses and I just received my first degree, a Doctor of Philosophy in Religion! I still have more courses to finish, more than 30 credit hours, before I complete the final course studies for the rest of my degrees and certifications. This Ph.D. degree is a big step for me and has been a long time coming.
In short, I finally can breath (a little) while I complete the rest of my courses. Once completed, I will have the proper education under my belt to preach and teach and this education will go right along with my ordination that I received in 2003.
I’ll keep you updated as I complete my other courses, but for now, I feel great about finally getting the first one out of the way. Now, on to the rest and then who knows from there!
