No matter what type of blog that you have, one of the best places that you can advertise your blog is to join a blogger forum. After all, everyone who posts there has a blog and that’s the main subject.
It’s a great place to meet other bloggers and to advertise your blog.
There are quite a few blogger forums that you can sign up for on the Internet. One is known as Bloggeries, where you can show off your blog, get your blog reviewed or review other blogs, and find lots of tools that you can use for your own blog.
Another good place to go is to Blog Forum. Blog Forum, like Bloggeries, has spots for you to market and show off your blog,
Blogger forums are a great place to advertise because everyone in them are of the same mind and want to make certain that their blogs get noticed and read.
If you use your blog to advertise something that you are selling, or you want to get a lot of traffic to your blog in order to make money, you want to go someplace where it can get exposure.
When you advertise on a blog forum, you know that you are placing your advertisement in a place where blogging is something that people enjoy.
Just remember when you are posting to a forum to read the rules and abide by them. That way you’ll get your blog noticed and you will know that you are doing the right thing.

There are a lot of people who dislike taking good care of their checkbook; however, you will want to keep in mind that there are some alternatives to having checks. Really, checks are unnecessary in today’s world but people continue to use keep their paper trail.
Keep in mind that when you use a lot of checks you are putting yourself at risk for ruin. You may think that this is a little bit too dramatic, but it is possible to have identity theft through check fraud.
You may think that checks are convenient or you may be too scared to switch to a debit card, but you will want to change your view on things for the sake of your future.
You will find that that checks tend to be very damaging because you are giving out a lot of personal information. With each and every check you will find that you’ll be given them your account number and the routing numbers as well.
With a check, others can get into your check account and switch money into their account and have it all withdrawn and gone before you even notice. You will want to keep in mind that it will pop up on your statement, but by then, the damage is done.
Don’t forget that you are also giving out your personal information when it comes to address and name. You may even have your spouses name on the checks as well. Now they are able to steal two identities at once. You will find that others will place things like their social security or phone number on the checks as well. There is really no reason for you to place either bit of information on a check. If you are asked for it, then you can write it in yourself.
With information like your social security number, you will find that strangers can get into your home, your bank accounts, your credit cards, and even some of your utility bills.
You need to protect yourself against this and you will want to be very careful about any and all information that you give out on checks. Sometimes you need to use checks, but it is best that you get into the habit of using a debit card, because it is harder to steal someone’s identity, and you don’t leave such a personal impression on others either.

< rant > Well, looks like we have a service on our hands that makes it as easy as 1,2,3 to repeat content. WordPress Direct officially launched today. The site supposedly makes it as easy as possible to create a WordPress powered site within a niche that is maximized for SEO. Hell, they even set it up so that after subscribing via RSS to a few keywords, the blogging software can be configured to automatically post content that is related to your chosen niche. Boy, that sounds familiar, craptastic splog anyone?
Things I don’t like about the site. It used WordPress in the domain name which is a big ‘no no‘. The sites front page looks like a big, fat, giant, marketing gimmick. The site makes it real easy for common users to republish content that in a normal fashion, would be considered proper blogging etiquette. However, in this case, if the blog is doing it automatically, I think it falls more in line with a splog than a human powered site.
The Yahoo Press release claims the site has reached over 10,000 users. If you ask me, this is the laziest way of blogging I can think of. For god sakes, registering and getting an account along with a full featured blog is free via WordPress.com. < /rant >

I stumbled across this site out of the blue the other day called Typealyzer. When you submit your blog URL to the site, Typealyzer analyzes the text on your blog and then provides a personality report based on that text. Just for fun, I submitted my blogs URL just to see what the site had to say about me.
According to the analysis, Typealyzer thinks I’m of the following personality:
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.
The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.
If that weren’t enough, the site also provides a graphic that highlights which sides of the brain you use most based on the analysis.
Amazing that I have any brain activity at all! With regards to my supposed personality, I find it to be halfway accurate. It is true that I enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people but I don’t like to seek out excitement.
Submit your blog URL to the service and let me know what your personality is and if you agree with the results
