Podcaster Training Returning To Video

Now, don’t get too excited here, yes, we are returning to video, however, we will not go straight video again (probably ever, eh?). We will simulcast each Friday Night Show on Talkshoe and Stickam so that we can keep an eye on the live, streaming video and watch it catch up with today’s demanding audience.

Another reason for this return is that the stats for my live page at http://www.newmediapro.tv has been climbing steadily since we left producing our videos each week. This tells me that there is some demand for us to still do video as the numbers don’t lie!

I have chosen Stickam as my live, streaming server, since it had the best video quality overall. Beginning this Friday Night, October 10th, 2008, I will be back on audio and video at the same time. Now, if the video fails, that’s ok, as I expect it to not be much better as when I left it a couple of months back. However, as the services come up to speed, I will be able to tell this and will then begin to promote the video again and go back to doing more video productions as part of my show.

Any way, we’ll see how this goes. Also, in a couple of weeks, I will be doing a topic based on using video as a platform, so this will help me to research a little for that and to update me on what has changed.

I have changed the live page to add the live audio feed as well as the live video feed so you can easily get the show no matter which platform you want to use!
