Broadcasting audio, video or both at the same time

Ok, here are the show notes from Friday’s Podcaster Training, better late than never I guess. I had decided to do one more simulcast episode using Talkshoe and uStream at the same time, mainly because of the episode topic, but as someone in the chat room coined it, eMurphys Law took effect. Given that Talkshoe has had a number of audio issues in the past, it didn’t surprise me much when I logged in and no one could hear me. Ok, one person could hear me out of about a dozen or so logged into the chat room and on the phone bridge. Others were having similar issues with buzzing sounds and echoing, so since Talkshoe wasn’t a viable platform that night, I immediately switched to my conference line and ran the entire show on uStream only.

In a later part of the show, I made the announcement that I was going video only after last Friday. This caught a number of listeners by surprise, but I think they understand why I am doing this.

I have setup a new live page at http://www.newmediapro.tv and you can find the new RSS Feeds listed there as well. This page will become my new hub for Friday Nights from here on out.

The rest of the show went as planned with Jeff catching us up on the WordPress News and Josh with his Budde Podcasting Network news. Patti, during her Broadcasting Tips segment enabled some group participation from the listeners and chat room visitors. It’s this kind of interaction that really helps make this a great show.

Finally, we ended with the Business 101 segment, which I will make a post later at http://www.business101chat.com and then we had a great after show, as always. Speaking of the after show, it is now podcasted too and you can pick it up with the Podcaster Training RSS Feed now as a separate entry.

So, concluding this post, I will still podcast this show, only it will have a new RSS feed as I am also hosting the show too. iTunes will pickup the new RSS feeds soon, they will be available for you iTunes listeners very soon.

Even though we are video only now, I will still call the show, Podcaster Training and will continue as I have in the past. Only this time, with more video added to the show! Watch for that! And speaking of videos, I am preparing to post a WordPress SEO video series here to go along with next Friday’s Main Topic.

See you then!

Tip #36: Seek free or inexpensive help before seeking paid credit repair help

Posted on 29 July 2008 by NMP Network Administrator

f you need credit repair, odds are good that your finances aren’t in the best possible shape. That likely means that you should attempt to spend as little as possible on credit repair – the money you save can be channeled into repaying your debts. Before seeking credit repair services, follow the tips in this ebook in order to repair your own credit.

Also, seek out free or inexpensive sources of credit repair help. Some non-profit credit counseling services are actually registered charities and will work on your behalf. If you can get help from one of these companies or undertake credit repair yourself, you will be able to save money quite easily.

In addition, these companies tend to be more legitimate than credit repair companies that take your money, anyway.
