Episode 24 - Autoresponders, List Building and Podcasting

In this episode, I discussed the relationship of how autoresponders and list building relates to podcasting. Most people associate autoresponders and list building to Internet Marketing, however, consider that podcasting is still new media and that makes it as useable for Internet Marketing as ever!

Ok, there are several autoresponder services out there, including GetResponse.com and Aweber.com, however, these services will cost you about $20.00 per month to use. I used to use Aweber and found it to be just right for me, however, the monthly cost was getting me down (along with my pocket book). I found a script called Autoresponder Unlimited for $37.95 (a one time purchase fee) that does everything that I was using with Aweber. Better yet, no monthly fees! I have this software link posted on the main page right now and it will also appear in The Personal Publisher later.

A listener pointed out an open source product called PHPList that looks promising, and it is free too!

Patti Serrano, for her Broadcasting Tips Segment played a small portion of a podcast where she read from a script, showing the listeners that you can read from a script and make it sound like you are having a simple conversation and not sound robotic.
