Autoresponders, List Building and Podcasting

Posted on 10 May 2008 by NMP Network Administrator

How do these three things really relate to each other? In most circles today, you will be told that they aren’t related at all. Podcasters have no use for such things as autoresponders or building a list of opt-in subscribers. They should just use RSS and forget it! Well, RSS has it’s place in the New Media world, however, so does using an autoresponder and building a good list!

On our upcoming episode of Podcaster Training, I will be discussing autoresponders and list building as it relates to podcasters. Internet Marketing is not just for bloggers and web site owners any longer! New Media technologies, such as podcasting, videocasting and screencasting are now looking to use this method of gaining listeners and viewers.

I have posted the autoresponder software that The NMP Network uses for all of it’s list building and opt-in subscribers. I was a previous user of a “free” service and it turned out that they would spam my subscribers, so they went away (from my use) real fast! I always subscribe to my own lists to insure the integrity of the list and to insure that I am receiving the same e-mails that I am sending out. This is how I caught the “free” service at what they were doing.

I then went to one of the top rated autoresponder services, Aweber, and was paying them $19.95 per month, just to have access to my lists and multiple campaigns. After three months of using Aweber, I decided there had to be a way I could purchase the software and do this myself, cheaper! Low and behold, I found Autoresponder Unlimited (the software I have posted) and found the software to be reliable and has all of the features Aweber was giving me, but for a one time shot of $37.95, instead of a monthly charge.

So, it’s time for me to pass on this knowledge to others that are looking for ways to build a list and use an autoresponder and that will be the topic of discussion come Friday! Hope to see you there!

Credit Counseling

Posted on 10 May 2008 by NMP Network Administrator

[ad]
Credit counseling agencies can offer you a lot of help in reducing your debt. With the experience that they have they will be able to quickly sort out a budget for you and show you how to manage your budget, your income and your expenditure.

Get recommendations from people within your area who have used specific credit counseling agencies and have been pleased with the results because there are many who don’t deliver what they say.

A good credit counseling agency will be able to review all aspects of your budget and set you realistic goals that you will be able to achieve.

They will understand your requirements and help you to work around your problems while still maintaining a reasonable standard of living.

They will review all your finances and make suggestions on whether or not you need to refinance, consolidate your loans, or anything else that needs immediate attention.

If you find yourself a good credit counseling agency they will work with you over the long term tuning your budget to suit as your needs change and your debts decrease.

They can also help you come to arrangements with your creditors and other lenders to help you pay off your debt and to ward off legal action for the recovery of outstanding money.

Check their fees before employing them as there are many who charge excessive amounts that will get you into more debt than they can help you get out of.

Some of these agencies are non-profit but don’t assume that they are without checking their credentials and that can be done by getting a copy of an IRS approval of non-profit status. The genuine non-profit credit counseling agencies will be the cheapest but just because you won’t be shelling out a lot of money doesn’t mean you won’t be getting the best of advice.

Often these non-profit organizations have a better understanding of the difficulties that the ordinary person faces handling their finance.

If you are to expect the best results then you will have to reveal everything you can about your income and expenditure, your debts and the problems that you have had with payment of your debts, and your credit history. It is only when they have the full picture that they will be able to make the best decisions to see you progressing towards your goal.

How Do Online Predators Work?

Posted on 10 May 2008 by NMP Network Administrator

For those who like to go into the chat rooms or for those who have children, you will want to know how online predators work. You will want to know these things for the fact that they don’t just pry on the young children, but also very nice, openly attractive women. Also don’t even be afraid to think that a woman can be a predator. Anyone could be a predator and you may find one or two of the people that you talk to, may be an online predator.

The way that predators will work is they will try to get others to talk to them in chat rooms, by email, or through instant messaging. They are many teens that are targeted in such areas, but they always look for people who are vulnerable. They will try to get you to trust them, and very quickly. They try to establish a connection to the person within the first fifteen minutes. You will find that they will try to seduce you through the attention they give you and how much effort and time they give you. They may gradually try to introduce sexual content into their conversations or give you some sexually graphic material.

This person will also try to show some interest in the things that you like, music, movies, and more. Thee are some people who work quickly trying to get a next “date” or there are some people who could talk to you for weeks before they reach the sexual topics. They all will want to meet you offline and that is why will really put you at risk. You do not want to give out any information that could led others to you directly or indirectly. Directly, you will be telling the person your full name or address, but indirectly would be through the various sites online with your information on it. You do not want to feed the stalker’s means of hurting you.

You should know that everyone online could be a predator or pry. Even with your age or because of your sex you still could be at risk. Not just teens are at risk and not just girls. There are some women predators, but they are rare, however, when you go online you are meeting the world. Your chances will increase.

The reason why teens are mostly targeted is that they are very venerable. They are at risk for predators because they long for someone to take in interest in them or for someone to show them some attention. You may be able to save your children from online predators if you make them feel important and give them your attention when they need it or want it.
